Mrs Bimoo's Bad Hair Days
Woolly the Clever Lamb
A poem about the month of Ramadan by Naima B Robert. Published by Frances Lincoln Limited, July 2009
Mrs Bimoo had a lot of long, tangled-up hair. Mr Bimoo however, had no hair. Mr Bimoo (like other people) had no birds nesting on his head. But Mrs Bimoo (unlike other people) had many birds living in her hair.
It’s late at night and Woolly the lamb wants to get back to her friends in the farm. First though, she needs to somehow get rid of the big, hungry Wolf blocking her way. Can she do it? She might be able to you know; the Wolf is not the brightest of the animals.
